We’d like to share an interesting situation that doesn’t happen often – not just to us, but to almost anyone who works seriously with China.

It all started with a single message from a factory. Josip received a notification that he had appeared in the promotional material of a major Chinese manufacturer of forklifts and other construction machinery.

The message included a link to their video. Classic corporate content – production, testing, logistics, branding.

And there it was, in their ad – a familiar face.

Not in our video. Not in our post. But in their promotional material, which was later used in public distribution, including CCTV. For those who don’t know, China Central Television (CCTV) is China’s main state television and practically the most important media outlet in the country.

In one shot, you can clearly see Josip driving their forklift. That’s why they contacted us – to let us know they had used part of our footage in their commercial.

We have shipped various types of forklifts from China so far, but this time we are highlighting a specific model designed for long loads and narrow aisles. It even surpasses Alibaba in retail sales and has now officially entered the European market through its own platform, Joybuy. For anyone involved in importing from China or selling online in Europe, JD is a name we can no longer ignore – neither as competition nor as a potential partner.

Who's going to mow your land this year? Finding someone willing to push a mower up a slope for hours is getting harder — and even when you do, the work is physically demanding and comes with real risk. A tractor covers a lot, but not everything: between orchard rows, along a canal, on the steeper parts of your land. That's why more and more large landowners, municipal companies and vineyard operators are switching to remote-controlled tracked mowers. We visited the factory in China where these machines are made and filmed how they actually work.

The conflict in the Middle East has reached a point where it's actively reshaping how goods move from China to Europe. The Red Sea and Suez Canal — the corridor that carries a large share of container traffic between Asia and Europe — are effectively closed.
